Terms and Conditions of Sale

Preamble

These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as the “GTC”) apply to any vehicle rental carried out by Sunset Ride (hereinafter referred to as “Sunset Ride”) to any customer (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”) via the company’s website or any other means of communication. 

By booking a vehicle, the Customer unconditionally accepts all of these GTC.

Article 1: Purpose

The purpose of these GTC is to define the conditions under which Sunset Ride offers classic car rentals to its Customers.

Article 2: Booking and payment

  • Booking: Booking requests can be made online on the Sunset Ride website or by any other means of communication made available by the company.
  • Payment: The full amount of the rental must be paid at the time of booking, via a payment link sent by email or SMS.
  • Deposit: A deposit is required when booking a classic car rally, with the balance due upon delivery of the keys.

Article 3: Vehicles

  • Condition of vehicles: The vehicles offered for rental are in good working order and have been properly maintained.
  • Mileage: A daily mileage of 150 km is defined in the rental agreement.
  • Insurance: The vehicles are insured for damage caused to third parties. The Customer is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle.

Article 4: Rental conditions

  • Driver’s age: The driver must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
  • Deposit: A security deposit by check or cash may be requested from the Customer upon delivery of the keys.
  • Fuel: The vehicle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.
  • Breakdown: In the event of a breakdown, the Customer must immediately notify Sunset Ride. Breakdown costs shall be borne by Sunset Ride, unless the Customer is at fault.

Article 5: Cancellation and modification

  • Cancellation by the Customer: 100% if cancellation less than 15 days before the rental, 50% if cancellation between 15 and 7 days before the rental, 0% if cancellation less than 7 days before the rental.
  • Modification by Sunset Ride: Sunset Ride reserves the right to modify or cancel a booking in case of force majeure or unavailability of the vehicle.

Article 6: Liability

  • Liability of Sunset Ride: Sunset Ride is responsible for providing a vehicle in good working order.
  • Customer liability: The Customer is responsible for the use of the vehicle and any damage caused to it or to third parties.

Article 7: Personal data

Customer personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.

Article 8: Applicable law and disputes

These GTC are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the performance of these GTC shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

Article 9: Entry into force

These GTC enter into force on the date of their publication on the Sunset Ride website.
